Brown/ bloody discharge. what is this?

I'm 22 and not sexually active (except for masturbation) but that doesn't count. Anyways my last period was i think second last week in april , I didn't have one in may and I'm hoping I get it this month. This last week I've noticed a lot of discharge and wetness, its been brown and bloody. What can cause this???
